Hand-raised, tame birds
A hand-raised bird is used to people from day one, so it settles in faster and bonds with you.
Every chick here is hand-fed at the aviary.
You meet the bird first
A good shop lets you see how a bird behaves, and how it takes to you, before you commit.
That's the only way we work: book a meetup, say hello, then decide. There's no online checkout.
Healthy birds from known parents
Ask where a bird was bred and how it was weaned. Birds bred on site come with a known history.
We breed from more than 50 breeding pairs, with unhurried weaning and no shortcuts.
Honest advice
The right shop will tell you when a species isn't a good fit for your home, not just make a sale.
We'll tell you if a bird isn't the right fit. The best match is the one that lasts decades.
Help with care
Diet, cage setup and daily routine make or break a bird's first weeks at home.
